Jesse: Medical Aesthetician

Born and raised in Barbados, I spent my childhood enjoying the beach, playing sports and spending time with my family and friends. I had the opportunity to gain some independence and develop skills in other subjects, sports and life in Canada but coming home during the new reality of COVID drew so much uncertainty.

As I have always had a passion for science, more so biology, I enrolled at The University Of The West Indies for a Bachelor’s of Health Science and within my first year I knew I wanted to pursue a career in skin care. I have since completed an advanced aesthetics course, strengthened with my knowledge in psychology, health care systems, sociology and the structure and function of the cells in the body.

Then the opportunity arose to be a part of BioConnect and I knew from the beginning that I was in the right place. When your whole team’s goal is to support, encourage and love each and every person that walks through our doors, you can only describe your days with one word: family. Life leads us in many places and I’m blessed that it led me here.
