As we age, life brings with it new challenges in every season. At BioConnect, we have partnered with Frances Bello, Clinical Psychologist, to help equip you with the tools needed for these ever changing times.
In this safe and confidential space, you get to be the fullest and truest version of yourself. With no judgment, no “should be”, no pressure – it is here that curiosity gets to reign. Change sometimes shifts both how we feel , how we look and how we cope with life. Together with Frances she can help you find tools that not only deal with where you are now , but also with coping mechanisms and strategies that can bring forth the most amazing and best version of you for yourself and those around you.
Frances is a Clinical Psychologist who moved to Barbados in 2011 and began her private practice. She has helped hundreds of clients navigate and solve the countless challenges that span all of life’s stages – working with issues related to anxiety, depression, addiction, challenging relationships, and acculturation. Beyond her specialist psychology qualifications, Frances also holds qualifications in menopausal therapy, and is thus the perfect practitioner to help guide her clients through the challenges they may be going through in their menopause.
At BioConnect, she will be able to help clients using self discovery, to recognise who they already are, what they already know, as well as offer new tools, that will enable and equip them to better manage, grow and thrive in their daily lives. Creating a clear vision for the life her clients dream of, and how to practice the healthy habits necessary to create it, is the mission.
She considers herself a lifelong learner and keeps herself relevant with professional certification in subject areas including, menopausal therapy, trauma techniques, play therapy, somatic experiencing therapy, motivational interviewing, suicide prevention, anxiety and depression, relaxation and meditation, and happiness at work – to name a few. She also stays updated with industry journals and advancements in treatment techniques.

What a lovely experience. I avoided seeing a doctor for years after having kids because I was so tired of being poked and prodded, but from the moment you walk in, there’s something about this office that just makes you feel celebrated and supported as a woman and it’s so refreshing and empowering. I had a gynaecological consult done with Dr Roberta Corona. She listened to all the issues at hand and right away came up with several plans to get all of them solved. She has vast knowledge on the field of menopause. We did several tests (bone density, ultrasound and blood work), all done at the same time so no need to go to other locations and get in line or make new appointments anywhere else and omg ! I have to say it was the first time I ever had a pleasant visit with a gynaecologist. Ladies! Listen up! If you are like me and you feel uncomfortable or have a sensitive pelvic area, I tell you! Look for this doctor ! She is the gentlest doctor I’ve ever visited. I give Bioconnect a 10 out of 10. Great service, amazing location and stunning office with extraordinary people.
Had the pleasure of visiting n Monday for a dermaplane facial have to say lovely welcome treatment was sublime and what I Really liked was the ambiance in the room - no silly whale or bird music just normal gentle music that you can relax and relate to - and the facial was the best I’ve had here in Barbados definitely worth a visit and I will be returning for sure - Thankyou for a relaxing time.
